Aedupac AD5101

Another newcomer to the product netbook / notebook comes in the homeland. Through brand Aedupac (American) September 2009 introduced a new past, Aedupac System wants to try his luck in the Indonesian market. This vendor was not simply selling a netbook but it is a world of IT solutions to advance education around the world. That's why their products are always accompanied with supporting software based on open-source software is free and is suitable for students or business. Aedupac itself is one of the supporters of the One Laptop Per Child program which began to be implemented in several countries.
One of the models we have tried to netbook Aedupac AD5101 series is based on Intel Atom N280. There are two versions available, ie the first version of the Linux operating system (minus the 3G modem) which is sold at Rp2.499.000. While applying the second variant of Windows XP Home plus a 3G modem Rp3.350.000 sold. This is our second model test. This includes competitive price range on the market which is already so crowded netbook.
AD5101 designs look quite attractive, especially on the hinges, keyboard, and lis on either side.Power button is placed a bit odd that on the left side hinge which is often used instead lefty.Row of the keyboard keys flying relieved and impressed also interesting though spelled mini size (especially in the range of function buttons). Now in the row of function keys is available shortcut to hide the screen quickly (F9). Unfortunately the manual that came less inform these shortcuts are available.
Like the other 3G netbook bermodem, AD5101 hide this modem slot in the compartment of the battery. Cool, Aedupac also designed a miniature antenna that can be pulled out. It is located on the side (near Kensington lock slot). This antenna works strengthen the 3G signal reception.It is quite rare netbook which provides an antenna though his presence is still colored by the pros and cons.

Testing Results
Differences in bandwidth between CPU Atom N270 (533MHz) and N280 (667MHz) could be clearly seen here (although we assume the distance is very thin). Sky Zyrex 1716 N270 wearing only a few points behind in many respects. But the 4400 mAh battery usage on Aedupac AD5101 make a longer durability. Based on testing, is reached when more than three hours.
